Fresh & Clean Bathroom Colours

Fresh & Clean Bathroom Colours
01/12/17 For novice homebuilders, bathroom colours can feel like an overwhelming design choice. While for seasoned experts, finding the perfect mix of light, bright, and patterned textures is a delightful exercise. When it comes to your bathroom it is important to choose colours that make you feel fresh and clean; it is a place of rejuvenation after all!

In all our years of experience we have built countless stylish and modern bathrooms. Check out our tips for making your bathroom the relaxing hub of your new home.

White has always been a classic favourite but you don’t want a bathroom that looks too clinical. Bring in a touch of warm wood or terracotta to let the room feel fresh but still characteristic. Let the white brighten up the room and don’t forget some candles that will really add ambience to this look!

Grey is a lot like white, it goes with everything! No matter the style of your house, grey is a simple, fresh colour that remains a safe choice for those going for a minimalist look. If you like to redecorate regularly then it is the perfect blank canvas for you to mix up and refresh your style as you please. Don’t be limited by the colours that are hot now, so prepare for the colours that you are going to love in the future.

Mix greens and beige tones together for a slightly different look. Choose different shades of beige (with a touch of white) to set the scene. Then you can bring the garden inside by introducing leafy plants to keep the colour palette fresh and simple. (if your thumb is more brown than green, faux plants work just as well!)

Choose a feature tile or coloured cabinets to be the hero of the space. In the bathroom above, we’ve opted for a unique timber-look wall tile that gives the room a key focal point. Combined with softer neutrals like grey and beige (which appear in the feature tiles) the end result is a striking yet modern bathroom.
